According to Board Policy 8.80, the Board, on the recommendation of the Superintendent, must accept all gifts individuals or organizations contribute to the District if they are $500 or more in value. |

Summary:

Monroe Middle School has received a donation from two private donors totaling $1,500.00 designated for the Eagle Honor Award Dinner. These donations makes it possible to recognize both students and staff that exemplify Courage, Patriotism, Commitment, Citizenship and Sacrifice. By accepting these donations, Monroe transfers ownership of any items purchased and relinquishes to District 200 the responsibility for maintenance, repair, insurance and any liability incurred in the use of the items donated. |
