Background:

Annually, the Board President designates Board Committee assignments consistent with Board Policy 2:150. Prior to making committee assignments for the 2023-2024 school year, this policy was discussed at the June Board Meeting. Based on feedback from the Board, an adjusted policy has been attached for review and posting. The adjusted policy language removes several standing committees. The work of those committees does not go away, but simply will shift to the full Committee of the Whole Meetings. The adjusted language also separates the committees that are required per School Code from the committees identified by the District 200 Board of Education. |
