Summary:
All school buildings and the school service center will be equipped with a kiosk station that visitors to the building will use to check in. This will give all necessary personnel information as to who is in their building at any given time. The guest management system also checks a person's identifiable information against various criminal databases. |
Funding:
DoIT has worked with the Business Office to incorporate the ongoing cost of annual software licensing as well as the one time cost of kiosk (equipment) purchasing into the DoIT operating budget. A total 3 yr term cost for the guest management software is $40,585.23, due upfront. The one time kiosk (equipment) cost for each building would be $12,520 for a grand total of $53,105.23. |
