Background:
According to Board Policy 8.80, the Board, on the recommendation of the Superintendent, must accept all gifts individuals or organizations contribute to the District if they are $500 or more in value.

Summary:
Sandburg Elementary School has received a $500.00 donation from the Malherbe Family designated for the new mural in the multi-purpose room of the school. By accepting this donation, Sandburg transfers ownership of any items purchased and relinquishes to District 200 the responsibility for maintenance, repair, insurance and any liability incurred in the use of the items donated.
