Background:
According to Board Policy 8.80, the Board, on the recommendation of the Superintendent, must accept all gifts individuals or organizations contribute to the District if they are $500 or more in value.

Summary:
Pleasant Hill PTA purchased the following items for the benefit of the students and staff at the school: Books, art and music supplies, curriculum supplies, funding for school assemblies & speakers, grade-level field trips & activities (fees & transportation), and classroom & staff celebrations. The total cost of the aforementioned items is $30,482.45. By donating these items, Pleasant Hill PTA transfers ownership of the items and relinquishes to District 200 the responsibility for maintenance, repair, insurance and any liability incurred in the use of the items donated.
