Summary:
The original three-year agreement with Baker Tilly began with Fiscal Year (FY) 2020. The total cost over the three-year period of the contract was $128,450 (FY20 - $41,000, FY21 - $43,150, FY22 - $44,300). In Fiscal Year 2023 a one year extension was approved to continue partnering with Baker Tilly as our district auditor at a contracted cost of $57,695 ($56,945 for FSA, $750 for Payroll Aggregation and SELF).

We are recommending a one year extension to the existing contract with Baker Tilly to continue partnering with them as our district auditor. The total cost of the one year extension will be $63,100 ($62,300 for FSA, $800 for Payroll Aggregation and SELF), which represents a 9.4% increase over Fiscal Year 2023. The increase in costs are due to increases in labor costs and the number of hours required to complete the District's audit.
