According to Board Policy 8.80, the Board, on the recommendation of the Superintendent, must accept all gifts individuals or organizations contribute to the District if they are $500 or more in value. |

Summary:

Longfellow PTA purchased the following items for the benefit of the students and staff at Longfellow: P.E. and playground equipment, miscellaneous LLC supplies and equipment, an outdoor classroom (including picnic tables, book library, and engraved bricks), butterfly garden and DreamBox program for grades K-2. The total cost of the aforementioned items and donation is $57,493.00. By donating these items, Longfellow PTA transfers ownership of the items and relinquishes to District 200 the responsibility for maintenance, repair, insurance and any liability incurred in the use of the items donated. |
