Each year the administration presents to the Board of Education a recommendation to appoint the Treasurer and approve the amount of the Treasurer's Bond coverage. Mr. Jordan Thorse is assuming the role of the Treasurer as of July 1, 2022. |

Summary:

The attached resolution recommends that Jordan Thorse be appointed as Treasurer for the fiscal year July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023, recommends the setting of the amount of bond coverage to be obtained for the Treasurer's Bond at $28,750,000 and the special issue bond for lease certificates at $3,375,000. The amount of coverage is determined by the Illinois School code. The district is required to carry 25% of the amount of all bonds, notes and moneys held in custody at any one time. |
