Background:
The Human Resources Department has studied many of our comparative school districts and would like to propose a set pay schedule for guest teachers/substitute teachers, long term guest/substitute teachers and permanent guest/substitute teachers for the 2022-2023 school year

Summary:
We reviewed many comparative school district rates and looked at the highest to lowest pay rates for guest teachers/substitute teachers, long term guest/substitute teachers and permanent guest/substitute teachers and propose the attached pay rates for the 2022-2023 school year.  
Funding:
The estimated cost increase would be approximately $412,445 to the 2022-2023 budget

It is recommended that the Board approve the proposed 2022-2023 pay rates for guest teachers/substitute teachers, long term guest/substitute teachers and permanent guest/substitute teachers as presented.
