In 2020 the Business Office issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for auditing services. Based on the submissions, Baker Tilly was selected as the district auditor in March 2020 for a three-year contract. |

Summary:
|
The original three-year agreement with Baker Tilly began with Fiscal Year (FY) 2020. The total cost over the three-year period of the contract was $128,450 (FY20 - $41,000, FY21 - $43,150, FY22 - $44,300).
We are recommending a one year extension to the existing contract with Baker Tilly to continue partnering with them as our district auditor. The total cost of the one year extension will be $57,695 ($56,945 for FSA, $750 for Payroll Aggregation and SELF). The increase in costs are due to increases in labor costs and the number of hours required to complete the District's audit. |
