Background
|
Schools have identified a need to the Educational Services Department for additional student desks to meet the instructional needs of our students. Due to the pandemic, social distancing requirements are in place as more students return to in-person learning.

Summary:

The District is a member of various government purchasing cooperatives that have the ability to streamline the purchasing process. Illinois Learning Technology Purchasing Program (ILTPP) is a public sector cooperative purchasing organization which has met the Joint Purchasing Act requirements, and has subsequently entered into a contract with Midwest Educational Furnishings Inc. Midwest Educational Furnishings Inc. has submitted a proposal to furnish 2,400 student desks, including freight, at a cost of $157,482.72.
