Background
|
In March of 2015, the Board of Education approved a lease agreement with Verizon Wireless for a tower at Wheaton Warrenville South. The agreement allows Verizon to make modifications and additions to their equipment on the tower. In April of 2019, the Board of Education approved a First Amendment to the contract as Verizon had determined that they needed to update and add equipment to the tower as was allowed under the terms of the original agreement.

Summary:

Attached to this report is a Second Amendment to Tower Lease Agreement to allow for the modifications to the tower, as proposed by Verizon. With additional equipment being added, the yearly contract will increase by $1,200, in addition to the yearly contractual increase.
