According to Board Policy 8.80, the Board, on the recommendation of the Superintendent, must accept all gifts individuals or organizations contribute to the District.

Jonti-Craft is a supplier of educational furniture to Midwest Educational Furnishings, Inc. Midwest is an established vendor with our district and notified us of several pieces of Jonti-Craft furniture that had been used for a furniture show and were no longer needed that they wished to donate. The estimated total cost of these items is $3,902.40. By donating these items, Midwest Educational Furnishings, Inc. transfers ownership of the items and relinquishes to District 200 the responsibility for maintenance, repair, insurance and any liability incurred in the use of the items donated.
