Background
|
During the 2021-22 school year a K-5 digital math resource, Zearn, was purchased to assist in virtual learning environments and to provide math instruction to students who may be in quarantine. This year, an additional math resource, Illustrative Math, was piloted, and a committee of elementary teachers, principals, and coaches provided feedback and recommendations on both instructional materials.

The Illustrative Math materials have been on display for 30 days at the School Service Center and on the CUSD200 website. Feedback received from the community will be shared with the Board of Education.

Funding:
|
The cost for teachers’ editions is $31,122. The cost for copy masters is $396.72. The cost for trade books is $20,712.89. The total cost is $52,231.61. The attachment outlines each item recommended for purchase. Funding has been allocated in the ARP ESSER federal grant.
