Background

The City of Wheaton and CUSD 200 has had an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) for the purchase of fuel since 1977. The IGA has not been updated since the original agreement.

Summary:
|
CUSD 200 is able to purchase fuel for district vehicles directly from the City of Wheaton at a discount compared to open market pricing. Seeing as the IGA has not been updated since the original agreement in 1977, both parties agreed to the update to ensure all current legal terms and conditions were included in the document. The new IGA will have a term of five years. A copy of the IGA is attached for your reference.
