Background According to Board Policy 8.80, the Board, on the recommendation of the Superintendent, must accept all gifts individuals or organizations contribute to the District.

Summary: Monroe Middle School has received donations from Brian Bare, John Rutledge, and Betty Joseph totaling $1,600 designated for the Eagle Honor Award Dinner. These donations make it possible to recognize both students and staff that exemplify Courage, Patriotism, Commitment, Citizenship, and Sacrifice. By accepting this donation, Monroe transfers ownership of any items purchased and relinquishes to District 200 the responsibility for maintenance, repair, insurance and any liability incurred in the use of the items donated.
