Background
|
In July, the Board of Education approved the bid from Waste Management of Illinois, Inc. for a three (3) year contract to furnish labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide trash removal and recycling services for all CUSD200 locations.

Summary:
|
After the award of the contract, Waste Management of Illinois, Inc. requested the district agree to bid clarifications and exceptions that were included in their bid submission. Since these changes were outside the parameters defined in the bid, we did not agree to these changes. Therefore, we are asking the Board to rescind the approval of the bid from Waste Management of Illinois, Inc. and reject all bids submitted.
