Background
|
The Board of Education approved a three (3) year contract with Advanced Disposal in June 2018 to furnish labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide trash removal and recycling services for all CUSD200 locations. The base contract expired on July 31, 2021, but allows for subsequent one (1) year extensions by mutual agreement. A one-year contract extension was approved by the Board of Education in June 2021. This one-year extension expired on July 31, 2022.

Waste Management of Illinois, Inc., as the successor entity to Advanced Disposal, has proposed to extend the contract for one (1) year. This contract extension would begin on August 1, 2022, and expire on July 31, 2023.
