|
Background
|
The transition to Vision 2026 and the discontinuation of the district's previous analytic tool led to a needs assessment. User interviews were conducted to identify key leaders' top priorities for a new analytic tool. A committee met with several vendors to identify the tool that would best allow staff to view static reports for key metrics and also conduct spontaneous research on the relationship among different data points. Student Analytics Lab was selected as the best tool to meet the district's needs. Data points will include test scores, social-emotional assessments, course enrollment, grades, attendance, discipline incidents, and co-curricular activities, among others. Reports will also include the ability to filter by demographic subgroup.
