Summary: Since the beginning of the school year, the CUSD 200 print shop has been used to make copies of the Illustrative Math student materials. Through the teacher feedback group, it was determined that color copies in a bound workbook would be beneficial for grades 1-5. The administrative team is recommending a pilot of the student workbooks for the last four units of the school year (there are eight total units). The pilot will include four workbooks for all students in grades 1-5. The teacher feedback group will make a recommendation for the purchase of student workbooks for the 2023-24 school year.
Funding: The total cost for the student workbooks is $77,735.84. This includes shipping and handling. Funds from the Educational Services budget will be used to make this purchase.
