Policy:
Background The Vision 2026 Strategic Plan includes the strategy of expanding programming to prepare students for a full range of post-secondary opportunities. This goal includes the following tactics:
1) Expand dual credit opportunities and Transitional Math and English courses
2) Develop an extensive Career Pathways Program including expanded opportunities, endorsements, a review of graduation requirements, and a review of middle school electives to align with Career Pathways.

Summary: On Wednesday evening, the administration will provide an update on the 2022-23 work plan for this Vision 2026 strategy. This update will include the plans for the expansion of dual credit courses for transferable general education credit and those aligned with Career Pathways, and support for students to earn an Industry-Recognized Credential. The leadership team has also identified a new College and Career Readiness platform, SchooLinks, to support our work in preparing students for postsecondary opportunities.
Funding: The cost for a one year subscription to SchooLinks starting in the 2023-24 school year is $26,687. This includes access for all students in grades 8-12 students. The yearly cost will be included in the CTEIG grant. There is a one-time implementation and training fee of $9,000.
