Background
|
In June 2020, the Board of Education approved the proposal from Wheaton Sport Center to be the supplier of student Physical Education uniforms for a three school year period. This contract expires on June 30, 2023. Terms of this contract allow for contract extensions upon mutual agreement.

Summary:
|
Wheaton Sport Center has proposed a three-year extension with no changes to the conditions, except for the price of uniforms charged to students. Currently, the cost for a complete uniform (shirt and shorts) is $15.00. Wheaton Sport Center is proposing to increase this to $17.00, as their cost has increased by this same amount.
Consistent with the practice students were accustomed to previously, Wheaton Sport Center will store the uniforms and sell directly to the students, offer online ordering, and be available on-site at student registration days in August. The three-year extension would begin on July 1, 2023 and end on June 30, 2026.
