Annually, our auditors prepare an independent audit of the financial statements of CUSD 200. They also express an opinion based on the combined financial statements of the District. The Board is asked on an annual basis to accept the independent audit as presented by Baker Tilly US, LLP.

Summary:

Nick Cavaliere, a partner with Baker Tilly US, LLP and the lead auditor for CUSD 200, addressed the Board of Education in an oral report at the March 8, 2023 regular meeting. He provided a highlight of the audit process and the 2021-2022 results for the Board of Education.
The audit was not in a final status on March 8th and no action was taken by the BOE on March 8th, which is why we are asking for approval this month.
The audited 2021-2022 Annual Financial Report, the audited 2021-2022 Annual Financial Statement and a communication from Baker Tilly LLP, US to the Board of Education are attached.
