Background
|
Each year the administration presents to the Board of Education a recommendation to appoint the Treasurer and approve the amount of the Treasurer's Bond coverage.

Summary:
|
The attached resolution recommends that Jordan Thorse be appointed as Treasurer for the fiscal year July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024 and recommends setting of the amount of bond coverage to be obtained for the Treasurer's Bond at $31,278,777.79 and the Special Issue Bond for lease certificates at $2,686,250. The amount of coverage is determined by the Illinois School Code. The district is required to carry 25% of the amount of all bonds, notes, and moneys held in custody at any one time.
