According to Board Policy 8.80, the Board, on the recommendation of the Superintendent, must accept all gifts individuals or organizations contribute to the District if they are $500 or more in value.

Summary:
|
Jefferson ECC PTA purchased the following items for the benefit of the students and staff at Jefferson: Spirit wear shirts for students, bike rack, various building and student programs and assemblies, and teacher grants. The total cost of the aforementioned items and donation is $13,463.00. By donating these items, Jefferson PTA transfers ownership of the items and relinquishes to District 200 the responsibility for maintenance, repair, insurance and any liability incurred in the use of the items donated.
