CUSD 200 has a procedure in which staff can recommend novels to be added to the approved lists on a yearly basis.

Summary:
|
High School staff are recommending six texts are added to their approved novel list. These books are for the following courses:
AP Language and Composition, British Literature, and Freshmen English. These texts have been available for community review at the School Service Center for the last 30 days. Feedback from the community has been shared with the Board of Education.

Funding:
|
The total cost for the requested texts is $5,723. Funds will be allocated in the FY24 budget.
