Background
Xerographic bond paper (white copy paper) is used throughout the district for both copy machines and computer printers. Paper is purchased as needed and delivered to each district location. In December 2024, the Board approved a bid from Veritiv Operating Company for xerographic bond paper, for $35.00 per case, and this 6-month contract expires on June 30, 2025.

Summary:
As the national supply and demand of paper continue to fluctuate, it was determined that a 6-month contract (versus a 12-month contract) for the paper would be better served and would attract more vendors. We specified three (3) acceptable brands of 20 lb. white, 8 ½” x 11” paper in the bid document: Boise X-9, Boise Essential Copy, and Econosource. All of these brands have been tested in district machines, and all work well. We estimate our 6-month usage to be approximately 2,000 cases. Legal notice was published, and bid packages for a 6-month contract were sent to potential vendors. Three (3) responded to the bid. Veritiv Operating Company submitted a bid of $35.85 per case for Econosource paper as the lowest responsible responsive bid. This price is good until December 31, 2025. The bid results are attached.
