Background
|
The original charter and bylaws for CAC were approved by the Board of Education in 2015 when the committee was established. In 2019 and in 2022, the bylaws were reviewed and revised with a focus on ensuring the bylaws and current operation of the committee were aligned. Consistent with the language in the bylaws that indicated they should be reviewed at least once every three years, a sub-committee of CAC was designated to conduct a review this spring. The sub-committee met to review the entire document following an initial discussion between the Board HR/Policy Committee and Officers of CAC. Attached are the proposed bylaws following the review of the sub-committee. There were minor changes to the bylaws. These were also reviewed with the HR/Policy Committee at their meeting on June 2nd.
