Background
|
Administration prioritized a full flooring replacement project at Wiesbrook Elementary School in the summer of 2025. This project will replace existing VCT (12x12 Tile) with LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile). This project is included in the capital plan and was reviewed and recommended by the Board Facilities Committee prior to bidding. The bid was structured to include one Base Bid for the work at Wiesbrook.

The bid opening was held on November 21, 2024. Seventeen (17) contractors obtained bid packages, and five (5) contractors responded. The bid package was structured with a Base Bid for the work at Wiesbrook. Attached is a letter from Legat Architects recommending Consolidated Flooring of Chicago, as the lowest responsible bidder for all bidding submissions. The total bid was $510,642.00
