According to Board Policy 8.80, the Board, on the recommendation of the Superintendent, must accept all gifts individuals or organizations contribute to the District if they are $500 or more in value.

Summary:
|
Sandburg Elementary School has received a generous donation of $1,000.00 from the Cann Family. This donation is designated for the school's Giving Tree program which is for Sandburg families who could use some help/additional resources at the holidays. With this donation, all of the families have had their requests fulfilled. By accepting this donation, Sandburg transfers ownership of any items purchased and relinquishes to District 200 the responsibility for maintenance, repair, insurance and any liability incurred in the use of the items donated.
