Background
|
Each year the administration presents to the Board of Education a recommendation to appoint the Treasurer and approve the amount of the Treasurer's Bond coverage.

Summary:
|
The attached resolution recommends that Mr. Jordan Thorse be appointed as Treasurer for the fiscal year July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025 and recommends setting of the amount of bond coverage to be obtained for the Treasurer's Bond at $12,489,111.83 and the Special Issue Bond for Lease Certificates at $1,021,000.00. The amount of coverage is determined by Illinois School Code. The district is required to carry 10% of the amount of all bonds, notes, and moneys held in custody at any one time.
