CUSD 200 has a procedure in which staff can recommend novels to be added to the approved lists on a yearly basis.

Summary:
|
High School staff are recommending six texts are added to their approved novel list. These books are for the following courses:
AP Literature and Composition, AP Language and Composition, Junior English, Sophomore English, and Military History. These books have been on public display since the April business meeting and feedback has been shared with the Board of Education.

Funding:

The total cost for the requested texts is $3,999.10 . Funds will be allocated in the FY26 budget.
