Capital Projects for the summer of 2024 have been identified and discussed with the Facilities Committee. The capital project work for the summer of 2024 along with a proposed project schedule is attached. |

Summary:
|
The Board Facilities Committee met on September 7, 2023 to discuss future planning related to work that is recommended for the summer of 2024. The District will focus efforts in the summer of 2024 on roofing and a special needs bathroom update at WNHS, paving/concrete work at multiple schools, a fire alarm system replacement at WWSHS, mechanical upgrades at three schools and updating three playgrounds. We have also attached projected capital project lists for the summer of 2025, 2026 and a three year recap (2024-2026) listing projected projects by school. |

The Business Office requests Board of Education approval to move forward with developing design and bid documents related to the work identified in the 2024 Capital Project List. We also request approval to issue capital project bid documents to the public when the bid documents are finalized. |
