CUSD 200 has a procedure in which staff can recommend novels to be added to the approved lists on a yearly basis. |

Summary:
|
High School staff are recommending six texts are added to their approved novel list. These books are for the following courses: AP Language and Composition, Dual Credit British Literature, and Freshmen English. These texts will be available for community review at the School Service Center. Community members with questions will receive follow up communication from a member of the Educational Services Department. All community feedback will be shared with the Board of Education. |

The total cost for the requested texts is $5,723. Funds will be allocated in the FY24 budget. |
