Continue to work to address projects identified in the Facilities Master Plan, through the dedicated budget allocation for capital facility projects per Board policies.
Policy:
Background The administration identified and prioritized several exterior door replacement projects at eleven (11) buildings and the Wheaton Warrenville South High School Foods Lab renovation. These projects are included in the capital plan and were reviewed and recommended by the Facilities Committee prior to bidding.

Summary: The bid opening was held on November 30, 2021. Fifteen (15) contractors obtained bid packets, and six (6) contractors responded. The bid package was structured into just a base bid package with several alternates. Attached is a letter from Legat Architects recommending Manusos General Contracting, Inc., as the low bidder on the base bid package, in the amount of $1,044,110.
Funding: O & M Capital Renewal Fund and Capital Projects Fund
